Description
Founded in 1798, Longwy’s « cloisonnés » enamels, with gold lines and black highlights have decorated kings’ and famous people tables and fireplaces for many centuries.
Until 2015, the year of the closing of this Living Heritage Company, young handpicked designers worked for this remarkable institution, such as Nicolas de Waël. This beautiful white cat (fetish animal of the Manufacture) is adorned with umbelliferous turquoise and gold, tribute to the floral motifs of the French Art Nouveau.
